Adams Central came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Holdrege Dusters. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Friday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Adams Central got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 25-20.

Isabel DeJonge paced Adams Central's offense, picking up 20 kills. DeJonge got some help from Peighton Hinton and her 20 assists. Ava Katzberg controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Adams Central's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Holdrege, their loss ended a ten-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.

Adams Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Stevens on the 4th. As for Holdrege, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Hill City on the 4th.
