            For the second straight game, Somerset Tech will face off against East Brunswick Vo-Tech. The Jaguars will take on East Brunswick Vo-Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Somerset Tech has won four straight at home, while East Brunswick Vo-Tech won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
Somerset Tech will bounce into Friday's   match after  beating East Brunswick Vo-Tech, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Jaguars came out on top against East Brunswick Vo-Tech by a score of  9-4  on Wednesday. While the Jaguars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Nathanael White made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and only one walk). White was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with four  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.

 In other batting news, Somerset Tech let  Caden Winnicki and  Cole Russomanno run wild. Winnicki  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with five  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Russomanno  went 2-for-4 with seven  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Winnicki is becoming a predictor of Somerset Tech's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 5-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Nicholas Raspovich, who  went 2-for-5 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Somerset Tech  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 11  hits in six consecutive  contests.
 Somerset Tech's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, their  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 10-2.
