Soccer Game Preview: Everett vs. Marysville Getchell

The Everett Seagulls will take on Marysville Getchell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Everett's offense. They lost 5-0 to Monroe on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Everett in their meetings with Monroe: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marysville Getchell). Everything went their way against Stanwood on Friday as they made off with an 8-1 victory. It was an even better day for Abdala Hassani as he scored three goals for his team.

The win (which was Marysville Getchell's third in a row) raised their record to 7-4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Everett, they now have a losing record of 5-6-4.
