Soccer Game Preview: Dinwiddie vs. Thomas Dale

Dinwiddie is 0-10 against Thomas Dale since April of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Generals will look to defend their home pitch against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dinwiddie's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Matoaca. Dinwiddie's winning goal came courtesy of Courtney Rose.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Thomas Dale sidestepped Prince George for a 3-2 victory.

Dinwiddie has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Thomas Dale, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Dinwiddie might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Thomas Dale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
