Baseball Game Preview: Bisbee Pumas vs. Willcox Cowboys

The Bisbee Pumas will challenge the Willcox Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bisbee will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Bisbee proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tombstone, sneaking past 7-5.

Meanwhile, Willcox lost 9-1 to Desert Christian on Wednesday. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willcox saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jahir Reyes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Bisbee pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Willcox, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12-1.

Everything went Bisbee's way against Willcox in their previous meeting back in March, as Bisbee made off with an 8-1 victory. Do the Pumas have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cowboys turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
