Basketball Recap: Stratford Academy Gets the Win

Stratford Academy won the last time they faced Twiggs County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles secured a 37-32 W over the Cobras.

Among those leading the charge was Landon Gates, who posted 13 points. What's more, he also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was TJ Dugger, who scored no points and nine boards.

Despite the loss, Twiggs County still got an impressive performance from Demontrez Brown, who put up 14 points. Bryson Dillard was another key player, putting up seven points.
