Basketball Recap: Washougal Takes a Loss

Washougal lost against Ridgefield back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Washougal Panthers took a 69-54 bruising from the Ridgefield Spudders.

Washougal has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Ridgefield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Washougal and Ridgefield could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Washougal will face off against Mark Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 190 places (247 vs. 57). Meanwhile, Ridgefield (ranked 129th) will meet R.A. Long (ranked 37th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
