After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests were happy to have found some success on Monday. They really took it to Model Secondary School for the Deaf for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-19 win at home. That looming 56-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sandy Spring Friends yet this season.

Despite the loss, Model Secondary School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Mattea King, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Sandy Spring Friends' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
