Softball Recap: King George Comes Up Short

King George came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hanover Hawks, falling 9-1. The match marked the Foxes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

King George saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Spillman, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

King George's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hanover, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King George will venture away from home to square off against Caroline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hanover, they will head out to challenge Atlee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
