It was a good run, but Lincolnton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Stuart W. Cramer Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Lincolnton had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-19.

Addison Beam paced Lincolnton's offense, picking up nine kills. Beam got some help from Kathryn Parker and her 13 assists. Finally, Kaylen Bryant kept Lincolnton's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Lincolnton's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Lincolnton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Chase on the 6th. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Shelby on the 7th.
