Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peoria). They put the hurt on the Agua Fria Owls with a sharp 96-74 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won six in a row.

Despite the loss, Agua Fria saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elijah May made all 6 shots he took for 15 points and five boards. David Tejada was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Agua Fria, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.
