Volleyball Recap: Arcanum Beats Tri-County North for Their Fourth Straight Win

Arcanum had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tri-County North Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The game marked the Trojans' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-18.

Arcanum found their leader in freshman Halle Bennett, who had five digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Bennett.

Arcanum was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-County North only served seven aces.

Despite the defeat, Tri-County North had strong showings from Paityn Davidson, who had 15 digs, and Audrey Fox, who had seven digs and three aces. Davidson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Arcanum's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tri-County North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Arcanum will venture away from home to take on Fort Recovery at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-County North, they will welcome New Miami at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
