Basketball Game Preview: American International Academy vs. Western International Cowboys

After both having extra time off, American International Academy and the Western International Cowboys will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

Two weeks ago, American International Academy was beaten by Pontiac 60-28. American International Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western International). They took their match two weeks ago with ease, bagging a 54-5 victory over Crockett Tech. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory (which was Western International's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.7 points per game. As for American International Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
