The Chenango Valley Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Susquehanna Valley by a score of 74-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Leading Chenango Valley to victory were Nate Marinaro and Warren Walters. Marinaro scored 21 points, while Walters scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Marinaro has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Benowski, who scored nine points.

Chenango Valley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Susquehanna Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Chenango Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Owego Free Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Owego Free Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Susquehanna Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Oneonta at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Oneonta presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Susquehanna Valley in New York (Oneonta is ranked 260th, while Susquehanna Valley is ranked 523rd).
