Volleyball Recap: Cranston West Falls Short Against Ranked Cumberland

Cranston West faced Cumberland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Clippers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Cranston West ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Cranston West's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Cumberland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

As of now, neither Cranston West nor the Clippers have any future games scheduled.
