Soccer Recap: Lincoln Northwest Comes Up Short

After flying high against Beatrice last Thursday, Lincoln Northwest came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Gretna Dragons on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

Lincoln Northwest has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Gretna, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season.

Lincoln Northwest will challenge Elkhorn North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gretna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
