Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Victorious

Holy Cross won the last time they faced Monsignor Scanlan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 6-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The team relied heavily on Aidan Doyle, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Monsignor Scanlan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross will square off against St. Edmund Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Monsignor Scanlan will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' game: after the Knights face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Monsignor Scanlan again at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
