McComb is a perfect 4-0 against Bluffton since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

McComb is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Arcadia with a sharp 12-1 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Bluffton came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Genoa Area 4-3.

Quinn Eachus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Bluffton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Speicher, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Jake Weaver, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

McComb's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bluffton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

McComb came out on top in a nail-biter against Bluffton in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
