Basketball Game Preview: Navarro Panthers vs. Fredericksburg Billies

Navarro is 1-9 against Fredericksburg since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Navarro Panthers will host the Fredericksburg Billies at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Navarro comes in on five and Fredericksburg on nine.

Last Friday, Navarro beat Wimberley 44-31.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fredericksburg). They breezed by Canyon Lake to the tune of 90-21 on Friday. The Billies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Fredericksburg's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points per game. As for Navarro, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
