West Carroll lost against Bradford last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The War Eagles came up short against the Red Devils, falling 13-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

West Carroll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harlan Hames, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Another was Cole McMinn, who scored a run and stole a base.

West Carroll dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Bradford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Coming up, West Carroll will venture away from home to face off against McEwen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The War Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Bradford, they will host Obion County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
