Baseball Recap: Bristol County Agricultural Comes Up Short

If Bristol County Agricultural was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Upper Cape Cod RVT on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chieftains lost 13-1 to the Cape Cod RVT Crusaders on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chieftains in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Bristol County Agricultural's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cape Cod RVT, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristol County Agricultural will host Norfolk County Agricultural at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chieftains are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Cape Cod RVT, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Monomoy at 4:00 p.m.
