Lafayette Jefferson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sayler Teal, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another was Kenzie Hutchison, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Kokomo's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Lafayette Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Everything went Kokomo's way against Lafayette Jefferson when the teams last played on May 1st, as Kokomo made off with an 18-8 victory.
