Softball Recap: Hermitage Has No Trouble Against Lafayette County

Hermitage got themselves on the board against Lafayette County on Tuesday, but Lafayette County never followed suit. They blew past the Cougars 14-0. The Hermits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by nine runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Hermitage and bumps their season record up to 5-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Lafayette County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hermitage will face off against rival Bearden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lafayette County is set to take on their familiar foe Emerson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
