Volleyball Recap: Chetopa Comes Up Short

Chetopa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caney Valley Bullpups. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Chetopa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Caney Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Chetopa will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Uniontown. As for Caney Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Galena on the 20th.
