Basketball Recap: Farmington Skates Past Potosi with Ease

Farmington won the last time they faced Potosi and things went their way on Friday too. The Farmington Knights blew past the Potosi Trojans 78-42. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Farmington to victory were Cannon Roth and Logan Schaupert. Roth dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Schaupert went 7 for 14 en route to 20 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Schaupert's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ryder Gollaher was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

The win made it two in a row for Farmington and bumps their season record up to 17-2. As for Potosi, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-3.

Farmington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-48 victory against Fredericktown on the 4th. Potosi has also already played their next game (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
