Globe came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the San Manuel Miners 53-23. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Globe's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vansler Nosie, who posted 13 points and five boards. Josiah Cutter was another key player, putting up seven points along with five boards and three steals.

Globe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Globe is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for San Manuel, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Globe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-46 loss against Miami on the 13th. As for San Manuel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-11 defeat against Agua Fria on the 14th.
