They came up short against Christ the Cornerstone Academy, falling 75-50. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Defenders are ranked 221st).

Liberty Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Mintz Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Everything came up roses for Mintz Christian Academy against Liberty Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 71-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mintz Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
