Volleyball Recap: Kenston Forest Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tidewater Academy on Thursday, Kenston Forest came back down to earth. The Kavaliers lost 3-0 to the Brunswick Academy Vikings on Monday. The Kavaliers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-13.

Kenston Forest's offense was headlined by Kardin Jones and Hartly Andrews, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Paynter Satterwhite and her ten assists.

Kenston Forest's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-6-1. As for Brunswick Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Coming up, Kenston Forest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association at 6:00 p.m. As for Brunswick Academy, they will take on Southampton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
