Basketball Recap: Drew Comes Up Short

Drew lost to Pace Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Drew fell 57-47 to Pace Academy.

Lawson Monroe produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards for Pace Academy. Monroe's big performance that evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Wrigley, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Drew's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Pace Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

Drew does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pace Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-52 defeat against Creekside on the 19th.
