Volleyball Recap: Erie's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Erie won the last time they faced Commodore Perry and things went their way on Saturday too. The Royals walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers.

Erie had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-16.

Erie's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11-3. As for Commodore Perry, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Erie will host Harbor Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Commodore Perry, they will take on Calvary Baptist Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
