Soccer Game Preview: Berkmar vs. Norcross

Berkmar hasn't had much luck against Norcross recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Berkmar will face off against Norcross at 5:30 p.m.

Berkmar is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Parkview. That's two games in a row now that Berkmar have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norcross). They never let Duluth get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Norcross needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Their offense was hitting Duluth from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. EV Kim led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Norcross' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Berkmar, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Berkmar might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Norcross in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Berkmar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
