Volleyball Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss

Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Robbinsville Black Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

Andrews couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Robbinsville a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 31-29, 22-25, 25-22.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Robbinsville, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrews will face off against Hiwassee Dam at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Robbinsville, they will challenge Murphy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
