Preview: Plattsburg Tigers vs. Bishop LeBlond Eagles
The Plattsburg Tigers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Bishop LeBlond Eagles on Wednesday. Plattsburg will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Bishop LeBlond is ranked 20th).
Last Tuesday, Plattsburg came up short against Wellington-Napoleon and fell 35-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Plattsburg has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Bishop LeBlond escaped with a win on Monday against West Platte by the margin of a single free throw, 36-35.
Plattsburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bishop LeBlond, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
Plattsburg took a serious blow against Bishop LeBlond in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 66-34. Thankfully for Plattsburg, Kianna Hererra (who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
