Volleyball Recap: Grantsburg's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Grantsburg waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Phillips Loggers. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ruby Rengo paced Grantsburg's offense, picking up nine kills. Rengo got some help from Kaylie Moore and her seven assists. Aliya Henderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Grantsburg's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Phillips, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Grantsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Siren on the 16th. As for Phillips, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Prentice on the 16th.
