Trinity Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Harshbarger, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hill David, who posted 16 points and five steals.
Meanwhile, everything went Rio Lindo Adventist's way against Pacific Union College Prep on Thursday as Rio Lindo Adventist made off with a 59-39 win.
Rio Lindo Adventist found their leader in sophomore Jordan Campbell, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, Campbell is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhordany Barcenas, who put up 11 points and five assists.
Rio Lindo Adventist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Rio Lindo Adventist is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Trinity Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Trinity Prep has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 38.8 rebounds per game.
