Softball Recap: Dysart Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Dysart finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 17-1 to the Cortez Colts. The Demons have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Dysart saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Sias, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Dysart's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Cortez, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Coming up, Dysart will welcome Greenway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cortez, they will head out to challenge Yuma at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
