Football Recap: Woodbridge Takes a Loss

Woodbridge lost against Irvine back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors lost to the Vaqueros at home by a 28-14 margin. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 698th, while the Vaqueros are ranked 333rd).

Woodbridge is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Irvine, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Woodbridge will challenge Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Irvine, they will take on Laguna Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vaqueros will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
