Basketball Recap: Lake County Comes Up Short

Lake County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Arrupe Jesuit Generals. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 63-24 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lake County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake County will venture away from home to square off against West Grand at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they will challenge Stargate School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
