Softball Preview: Wickliffe Blue Devils vs. Gilmour Academy Lancers
The Wickliffe Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Gilmour Academy Lancers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wickliffe is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road dating back to last season.

Everything went their way against Berkshire as Gilmour Academy made off with an 18-5 victory. 18 seems to be a good number for Gilmour Academy as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Gilmour Academy got a great performance from Camden Dreiling as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Dreiling has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Ava Gundling and Lauren Riccobelli did most of the damage at the plate: Gundling scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Riccobelli scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Pike, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
