Softball Recap: Philadelphia High School for Girls Takes a Loss

The Philadelphia High School for Girls GAZELLE didn't have quite enough to beat the South Philadelphia Rams on Wednesday and fell 11-10. That's two games in a row now that the GAZELLE have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Philadelphia High School for Girls and nudges their season record down to 0-2. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for South Philadelphia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Philadelphia High School for Girls and South Philadelphia will both be playing Frankford the next time they take the field. Philadelphia High School for Girls will host Frankford at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while South Philadelphia will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
