Soccer Game Preview: Adairsville vs. Kell

The Adairsville Tigers will head out to take on the Kell Longhorns at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Adairsville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when Adairsville challenged Ridgeland on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Adairsville who was credited with the win. Adairsville got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Ridgeland's three. The victory continues a trend for Adairsville in their matchups with Ridgeland: they've now won three in a row.

Kell lost 7-3 to Blessed Trinity on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Kell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Blessed Trinity are ranked 33rd).

Adairsville's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Kell, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
