Volleyball Recap: Bennington Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bennington came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blair Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Badgers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bennington was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9.

Addy Olson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Laila McGaugh also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Bennington's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Blair, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Bennington is taking a road trip to challenge Lincoln Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blair, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plattsmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
