Football Recap: Arroyo Comes Up Short

Arroyo fell victim to Gabrielino and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 38-0. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Eagles are ranked 277th).

Arroyo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Gabrielino, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Arroyo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 40-7 loss against South El Monte on the 10th. As for Gabrielino, they have also already played their next game, a 46-6 win against Mountain View on the 10th.
