Basketball Recap: Sartell-St. Stephen Takes a Loss

Sartell-St. Stephen was the 67-46 winner over Fergus Falls when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fergus Falls Otters on Tuesday.

Sartell-St. Stephen's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Fergus Falls, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sartell-St. Stephen will take on Detroit Lakes at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Detroit Lakes knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Sartell-St. Stephen likes a good challenge. As for Fergus Falls, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sauk Rapids-Rice at 7:15 p.m.
