Page has gone 9-1 against Western Guilford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Page Pirates will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Western Guilford Hornets at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Page and four for Western Guilford.

Page lost 21-1 to Northwest Guilford on Tuesday.

Page saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariel McAfee, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Western Guilford fell victim to Grimsley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Whirlies, falling 16-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Western Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Page hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .378. However, it's not like Western Guilford struggles in that department as they've averaged .388. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
