Basketball Recap: Central Falls Comes Up Short

Central Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 42-32 to the Pilgrim Patriots. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Central Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pilgrim, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Central Falls has already played their next contest (against Middletown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pilgrim didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-32 victory against Blackstone Valley Prep on the 16th.
