Baseball Recap: West Rusk Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sabine on Friday, West Rusk came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Arp Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kam Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Gunner Harp also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The loss snapped West Rusk's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-12-1 record. As for Arp, their record is now 9-14-1.
