Basketball Recap: Reserve Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Reserve can now relate to. They took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quemado Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Mountaineers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Reserve now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Quemado, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Reserve does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quemado, they will take on Magdalena at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Magdalena will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Quemado surely won't give up without a fight.
