Volleyball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the West County Bulldogs. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ariel West paced Greenville's offense, picking up four kills. West got some help from Poppy King and her three assists. King was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for West County, they moved to 4-6-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Greenville has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Ellington on the 20th. As for West County, they will take on Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
