Volleyball Recap: Whiteoak Takes a Loss

Whiteoak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Whiteoak was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fayetteville-Perry work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-16.

Whiteoak's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Whiteoak will venture away from home to face off against Clinton-Massie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they will host Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
